1Internet, Email 12 October 2006 from Alex Morris to Graham Hawker. "I have been doing a bit of online research into the family tree on the mormon website and also on www.ancestry.co.uk. It would seem that Priscilla Gladwin was the daughter of Thomas Gladwin and Charlotte (nee Hook). (source IGI - although it erroneously has the surname as Gludding). Charlotte Gladwin was still alive at the time of the 1901 census aged 86 but I can't find any record of her death, which was presumably fairly soon after this. The IGI implies that John Bartlett and Louisa Hodges Hawker had daughters born 1862 and 1863 called Adelaide Jane and Harriet Jane. I read on your site that Adelaide was known as Harriet which might explain this, certainly I can find no reference to Adelaide anywhere else. This Harriet married Jim Horseman and died in 1941. Emily (b 1877) sister of Frederick WIlliam Hawker married William Hale. Ellen (b 1883) married Walter Medcalf. I see refernce on your site to John Bartlett (b. 1831) having a step-mother called 'Janetta'? I was wondering if you had any information on his history."
