Email to Graham George Hawker from Ken Holloway dated 15 July 2002:
"My Edward Cooper is the one you mentioned bapt. 23 Jan 1809, the son of Joseph Cooper and
Priscilla Harvey. I have obtained most of my information on the Coopers of Bloxwich from Pat
Hayward. According to Pat, Joseph was bapt. 12 Dec 1756 in Wednesbury, the son of Joseph
Cooper and Ann Baylies, who married 29 May 1750 at Wednesbury. There was also a Joseph,
bapt 24 Mar 1752, but I do not know where he fits in - he could possibly have died young. I
have no record of your John Cooper, b. in 1858."Pat Hayward has pointed out that this Joseph Cooper born 1756 may in fact not be the correct man and that her findings were very tentative.
