The next newsletter will be published on 7 July 2004 and will be devoted to the Himalaya region.

This issue - Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam
Two years have passed since we last looked in depth at this region. It has become more popular and facilities have improved substantially but it still retains its charm In this issue of the newsletter we bring you up to date with more information, more hints and tips and more photos. We also have, as always, the latest news from Thai Airways International.

Although the holiday season is rapidly approaching there are still excellent prices available on flights and hotels, so don't forget you can easily find cheap air fares from any starting point to any destination, using the Connected Globe Flight Finder. For accommodation, you can find real bargains in good hotels if you book with Agoda.

With the launch of the "Buy One Get One" campaign, THAI invites its customers to experience travel in Royal First Class or Royal Executive Class, by purchasing one full fare round-trip ticket and receiving a second one free or receive a 50 percent discount for every two passengers. THAI's "Buy One Get One" campaign is made available to customers with travel originating from Bangkok only. THAI extends an open invitation to all THAI passengers and prospective customers to experience premium class travel with THAI. Designed for both business and leisure travelers, THAI's "Buy One Get One" campaign is extremely flexible. Both passengers must travel together on the first sector, but have the freedom of travelling separately for the remainder of the itinerary. Members of THAI's frequent flyer program, Royal Orchid Plus, may benefit from choosing the "Buy One Get One" campaign; both paid and free tickets are eligible for full mileage accrual.

South East Asia is very photogenic and some of the travellers that post to the internet are excellent photographers. The reult is sometimes quite stunning, and here on Todd Morris' site is an excellent example. Photos of quite stunning quality that illustrate very well the quotation he gives from Mark Twain: "Travel is fatal to bigotry, prejudice, and narrow-mindedness. Broad wholesome, and charitable views cannot be acquired by vegetating in one tiny corner of the globe."

Form your broad wholesome views, on:
