Mijas has a signposted network of hiking trails in the Sierra de Mijas, the mountains behind Mijas town.

• Blue route: Ruta Puerto Málaga
• White route: Ruta Cantera del Barrio
• Red route: Ruta de la Cruz de la Misión
• Yellow route: Ruta Cañada Gertrudis
• Green route: Ruta de las Cañadas
• Celeste route: Ruta Cañada Fuente de la Adelfa
• Orange route: Ruta Pico Mijas
