The best hiking trails of Sierra de las Nieves and its surroundings.
More and more people see nature tourism as one of the important paths to sustainable development.
For this reason, Sierra de las Nieves is moving to a type of tourism based on the enjoyment of nature without endangering conservation.
They have created a wide network of marked trails of short and long distance that will allow you to discover places and landscapes of natural beauty.
The network of trails of the Sierra de las Nieves and nearby locations includes 14 municipalities:
Alozaina, Benahavís, Casarabonela, El Burgo, Guaro, Igualeja, Istán, Monda, Ojén, Parauta, Ronda, Serrato, Tolox and Yunquera.
Details of many of the trails will be added in the following section over the next few months.

Istán have produced some excellent guides in English for routes from Istán into the hills around the town.
They range from the difficult route to the top of La Concha, the mountain overlooking Marbella, and at the other extreme an easy route to the Embalse de la Concepción, the flooded valley that is now a reservoir.
