In 1960 Rosalyn Tureck published a book, "An introduction to the performance of Bach" and a set of recordings in which she performs the pieces discussed in the book. "Take 2" is a re-recording of the same pieces but without reference to the original book, although the original order is preserved. The book has been published in English, Spanish and Japanes and is being translated into Chinese. Unfortunately the English version is out of print but the Tureck Bach Research Foundation is considering the publication of a new edition.
